Chinese silk chickens

Hi all, has anyone of you experience with the chinese silk chickens. All their feathers look like those of an Austrich. just smaller.
This race exist as a medium and midget size. I am just thinking of keeping white and brown one in my garden plus a large brown one of a large race. By the way - in every village there is a club for poultry keepers. A beer or 2 and you will have some scalps.

Picture frame holders

I will include, raised and at the two rear corners of the desk, a pair of small easel-type picture frame holders elevated on wood dowels that can be removed. One will hold my iPad so I can view fly tying videos to direct my work. The other will be for printed instructions and recipes.

I think the fellows

I think the fellows that run the Fly Fishing Film Festival have a granting process in which they help fund various projects as I recall. Also Winston had a competition for completed films. You can also get sponsors for gear. I don't know if any of that helps but it is a start.

thanks for the compassion. The fishing worked, although rest would have done the foot a lot better. But as you rightly wrote fishing must be.
The fishing suffered a little from the rain. Although the water immediately under the dam didn't cloud, the river gained about a half meter within half a day, making wading close to impossible. Best fishing was Friday morning.
I share your positive view on zonker flies. The best one was a simple black design size 8 with dumbel eyes, fished on a sink tip. Perhaps I put this into a little tying instruction over the winter, It has a cousin without the weight and they are pretty effecitve, best fish was a chubby 40 cm brown.

A very interesting f

A very interesting fly and technique, but the audio is terrible, too much mumbling, also too quiet.
I found it very difficult to follow. It is a shame because I wanted to understand.
