Good tie ruined by t

Good tie ruined by the overly casual narration. Perhaps I'm too old for 'coolness' of youth.

I have thought the same

I have thought the same thoughts as yourself, Martin.

We had lots of patience, changed location multiple times, changed tactics, etc. It must have been 'one of those days'. The weather had changed quite dramatically that day, from heavy rain and wind the day before, to glorious weather the day we fished. I had thought that this could have effected the fish.

Well I'm going to try my luck this evening, and am hoping that lady luck will be on my side this time.

Copyrights typically

Copyrights typically only apply to works of art, literature, music, etc. and is automatically granted upon creation of the work. A patent typically covers a design, invention, or product, which covers this reel. Patents are not automatically granted upon creation of the work. All countries, except the United States, function on the "first to file" style of application. This means the first person to file a valid patent application receives the patent. The United States is currently transitioning to this system, but has previously used the first to invent system, which means the first person to invent the design and diligently work towards filing the patent receives the patent regardless of who filed first.

All that being said, I hope you can sleep well at night with stealing someone's design on your conscious. It's no better than literally stealing money from someone.

Amazing design, and amazing job!

Wiggy,

Wiggy,

Some days things just don't work. I personally think it's because no fish are around, and you can change your tactics and flies as much as you want, but nothing will work.

Patience, moving location, taking a break, saving the energy for another day.
Some days are just blank, some are a feast!

Beautiful tie, Joel. My favorite of yours I think.

I enjoy watching and

I enjoy watching and listening to your fly tying videos. Each one is exceptional in content and value. The only thing I would like to see you add to each of your videos is a list of the materials you are using with each fly. You could either include the list in the beginning or at the end of each video. That would be very helpful. I will be looking forward to your new videos. Thank you, you're the best fly tying instructor I seen.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
