Loved the article Bob...... I couldn't agree more with you about the link between people who like to fly tie and people who like to cook...... definitely a correlation. I'll be trying this one for our next large family dinner!

I agree with you in some way, but it's a detail that appears in the video, STH is a national brand, ECHO is multinational, are choices of equipment, I suppose that these brands should have paid for this angler to put your logo in the video .. .. Are details of observation, I'm not a fan of logos and brands .....

Ernesto,

Whether the originator of these videos uses gear from his sponsors must be an issue between him and the sponsors. I personally couldn't care less. I usually try to ignore the logos, spots and commercials as much as I can.

Wow! nice videos of Solo. But STH is sponsor of this fisherman and he use Lexus reels!!!!!! And the rods? Do you believe that he use Echo rods?????

Fredrik,

Sure it's Baltic... but the Baltic salmon happens to be Atlantic in the sense that the scientific name is Salmon salar, in English Atlantic salmon. Even the Atlantic salmon that swims up New Zealand and Chilean rivers is called Atlantic although most of them have never seen the Atlantic.

Blame science, not me ;-)

Darren, you are the embodiment of the kindness of giving and and the gratitude of receiving. Live well, and prosper, my friend. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful celebration of life and everything that comes in the way.

Since you got this far …

A money box
The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
