Ugly Crab

Here are instructions for a version of the Ugly Crab, a pattern which I found on www.feathersandfluoro.com. I've tied a grey and brown version, but you can adjust the colours, size and weight to suit the waters you are fishing.

Nice fly. If you reduce the weight to just enough to get it to ride higher in the water column, it would be a good fly for snook.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
