In Danish: Krogh Sokken. For coastal flyfishing for sea run brown trout along the scandinavian coasts, shrimp-patterns are a must have in the box. The Danish flyfisher and flytyer Christian Krogh will in this video demonstrate the tying of his new all-time-favorite based on an old danish classic within shrimppatterns. Christian explains about the fly: "The Omø Børste fly was invented in the early 90s by Kenn Bonde Larsen and is a danish classic sea trout pattern by now. I have made this variant of this awesome pattern, because I bought some sunburst colored Pheasant Rump Neck feathers from Martin Votborg. That got me to the vice immediatly and I mixed up the feathers with a nice dubbing. A very simple pattern to tie, and was excited to try it out in the local fjord. The fly outperformed any other flies I tried for several trips, and has earned a permanent spot in my fly box."
