Immortal

This tying video was put together for the Revive Fly Fishing online magazine (reviveflyfishing.com).
I was asked to come up with a fly using a Misfit Halo Head (misfitfly.com). I used the large Misfit Halo Head and combined it with a Deceiver type fly. The girth of the head pushes water over the body giving the schlappen and grizzly hackles (and the whole fly) a ton of movement. This is a good size fly that could be used for pike or hunting big trout.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
