Notes: If you need to convey tiger, you could not pick a better feather than an orange dyed grizzly hackle. The Bengals were founded in 1966 as a member of the AFL by former Cleveland Browns head coach Paul Brown. The team name comes from a previous team that played several seasons in 1937-1941, named so for the cities world renowned for it's rare white bengal tiger. The color of orange Paul Brown chose seas the exact shade of orange used by his former team the Browns. A bitter rivalry exists between the two teams to this day.
