Originated by: Gary Fraser
Hook: Partridge CS15 #2
Thread: Red 70 denier
Tag: Flat copper tinsel
Tail: Red fox
Body: Holographic gold tinsel
Ribbing: Copper flat tinsel
Belly: Copper flash and orange polar bear
Wing: 2 badger hackles flanked by Coq de Leon dyed orange
Shoulder: Golden pheasant breast
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Red with orange band
Notes: Can we ever get enough beautifully speckled Coq de Leon feathers? This is a pattern Gary was inspired to tie after a trip Down North. He used the colors in the wilderness as the basis of his inspiration.

Since you got this far …
… I have a small favor to ask.
Long story short
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
