Darren, you have the wrong wing colors on this one. I will blame you, not your wonderful wife!
Cheers, Joel

Thanks Joel! I guess it doesn't need two sets of wings there. :)
Wow. I'm really digging this one.
Beautiful fly!
Great colors on this one. I love it!
Nice write-up Martin. I've been using a very similar foam pattern on the coasts of Amager (Copenhagen) with amazing effectiveness! The surface takes with this pattern tend to be quite subtle, but the sub-surface takes are often quite ferocious indeed! Not a fly to show-off but definitely one to have in your evening box.
very nice in all aspect thank u for sharing.
fast but very impressive thanks.
thank u i really enjoy your way of tying diferant flies it reall help me with my tying.
Of course. Steeler colors.

love the picture!
New to fly fishing...soaking in as much as possible. Have graphite now, is the feel better with glass?
I wouldn't say one was "better" than the other, but it's a bit of a different feel and a bit more forgiving. There area quite a few inexpensive glass rods to check out. Have a look through The Fibreglass Manifesto archives for some ideas and a ton more info.
A real beauty, Bill!
Incredible tie! I love it!
It's a good video, thanks from Italy
thank u for sharing i was trying to tie one yesterday and now u made it easier for me .
I would gladly partcipate with some streamers from Scandinavia. Both own creations inspired by Carrie Stevens, but Carrie's own very fine patterns too
Hi Gerhardt
Can you shoot me an email with a sample of your work. We are more or less full for the year, but considering doing another project next year. streamers365@gmail.com

Good mornind Donald,
I even tied a few myself. I thought an American pattern recommended by a Scotsman might catch fish in Germany. :)
So far the fishing in my club water has been marginal due to the late cold spell we had here.
Monday Tuesday it is going to be the salt in Denmark

You've got a nice site. Just scanning today but I'll be back to read!
Thanks!

Hi!
The picture is great! I appreciate all the advice. Thanks! 😄
A friend of mine uses Craft fur placed into the loop instead of spey feathers. Then the fly is brushed by comb and the fly looks very similar to the spey original and it is more durable. And the craft fur costs only 6 or 7 USD.
… I have a small favor to ask.
Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
