Re: Envy, envy!

Well, I do have the ocean

Sometime the grass is just greener, huh?

I'm longing for the streams, when I have some great ocean fishing right outside my door.

This is June and in May and June I can fish any piece of salt water and catch garfish - and maybe run into a sea trout. Cod seem to be returning, and mayby my "good-ole-days" fishing for cod in the nearby Oresound will be back. It's been many years ago since I was able to take an afternoon with my crab flies and my super fast sinking line. That is fun fishing! All within 15-30 minutes driving.

Friday I took a one hour's drive to one of the most perfect spots for summer sea trout and caught a fish of a season - not a big fish, but a perfect sea trout; silvery, perfect condition, hard fight in picth darkness in an ocean so clean and beautiful always amazes me. I saw seabirds and buzzards in the air and a porpoise right in front of me in the sunset.

And I'm longing for streams? Yes I am... I'd love to have a good stream too.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
