A Man May Fish

Another book on the pile

A friend gave me a copy of TC Kingsmill Moore's "A Man May Fish" yesterday. Well - it arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon after a trip across the Atlantic. I like surprises in the mail as much as anyone, but this was extra special.

Mark says it is a must read for anyone who has a fancy for wet flies and wet fly fishing. Gosh, if only I could conjur up a cold clammy day, no household chores, no interruptions, a comfy chair, and a tall glass of something cold.

Sigh.

I've got a few other books on the pile to look at as well. Moutter's "Imitative Fly Tying", Klausmeyer's book on saltwater flies, the classic by George La Brance, and "Neversink" by Leonard Wright.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
