Here we will be tying the fly Kobberbassen originally from Denmark but has spread around a lot the last years and become a very successful pattern for seatrout mostly. Bronze or copper flies have been getting more and more popular all around for the sakes that they catch often a lot of fish. Even I myself have my Copper Oranje copper fly and that's a fantastic fly pattern that works great. This fly however is originally by a man named Frank Jensen and it's imitating a gammarus or a scud. Personally I haven't used this fly too much but it works both in saltwater and non-saltwater. It's simple to tie and I'd suggest you have few in your fly box.
Pattern
Hook: Ahrex NS172 #12
Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed 8/0 hot orange.
Tail: Orange cock + lemon or brown mallard.
Body: Semperfli Bronze Ice dub.
Head: Orange.
