Blacknose Dace

Here we will be tying the fly Blacknose Dace, created by Art Flick. The fly is first mentioned in his 1947 "Streamside Guide to Naturals and their Imitations". The Blacknose Dace is one of the most popular and effective streamers there are out there. It's an excellent option for trout and seatrout fishing. I've fished it a little bit here in Iceland and with good results. The Blacknose Dace is simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when you go fishing!

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
