I'm both glad and sorry that the flies were so realistic that the birds took them. Imagine their effect when fish are around!

You will have to tie up a new bunch and keep a good eye on them while they cure.

Made three of these

Made three of these and put them out in the sun to finish curing. They promptly disappeared. I think they have been so buggy looking that the birds carried them away!

I am a human crab cracker who finds your sexy crab a very alluring and innovative fly. Your sexy crab and your perminator, in reality, would not get along well. The mantis shrimp would quickly smash the crab and enjoy a good meal.
I can understand why fish are attracted to the sexy crab fly. You do impressive work with zonker strips.

Thanks and Yes Don your wet fly 'Silver Jungle" led me to this pattern. It has done very well for me and my friends that have used it on trout and Atlantic Salmon.

If your want try this experience use a Line below and one number up, or that specify
Nimber, you may find solutions to wind condition, charge early your distance on small
River , try it, with today avaibility of type of line, it -  plus to try

This really looks like a good mantis shrimp imitator. You have used the difficult to tie zonker strip in a very effective way.

So simple you know it is deadly, ever notice the simpler the fly the more fish it catches? well thats true about this fly for sure great little searching pattern when bait fish are present thanks again and as always forget fishing lets go catching!

Great pattern, wow the striped bass of the Maine coast beware! crept around the Falmouth Foreside shore from 12 am til 5 am and caught and released 22 stripers, one of which was a whale weighing 33lbs and measured 43 inches. Thanks for the pattern and great instructions

a normally bulky material in a very effective way. Good job.
