A good deal of fly tyers, prefer to fish the Humpy rather than tie it, and find the original tying technique, where the over-body (hump) and wings are constructed from one and the same bunch of deer hair, challenging to master. This shows you how!

Hook: Mustad Heritage R50 # 10-16
Thread: Sheer 14/0 Tan
Tail: Moose body hair
Under-body: Bright yellow floss
Hump/wings: Fine stiff natural elk hair
Hackle: Brown Whiting saddle hackle
