Here we will be tying a hybrid of two flies, the Watson's Fancy as a nymph, and the famous Zebra Midge. I (and probably some other fly tiers before me) came up with this pattern few years ago.

Ginger Midge

Easy to tie. Not fancy. But it works! We love the ginger colored ultra wire. This color looks great for ribbing midge and Baetis patterns. This is essentially a mercury midge with ginger wire.
