Iron Blue Dun

It’s one of the very few patterns that can be fished in the early spring or late autumn. There have even been reports of this fly hatching in the winter. So I good all-round fly one could say.
There are many different patterns that imitate this fly. My favorite one is with CDC feathers. They float like a cork and fish seem to like ‘em!

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
