A Fishing Year Along The River Vindelaelven - part 4

The fourth episode (4 of 6) of A Fishing Year Along The River Vindelälven Valley.

In this episode we first follow Petra when she was patiently waiting for the massive hatches of the big may flies to begin, but she's a bit too early. Fortunately, there are always alternative water to fish along the river valley so she goes to the Gargån river for some grayling and trout instead.
Later, we follow Stefan who obviously had a big fish to rise to his dry fly but we'll wait and see until the end of the film how big it was. Rolf gets angry and decides to fish with two other fly fishing legends, Jimi and Erik, in Sorsele area for big trout.
Rolf is so inspired by the fantastic fishing that he swallows his pride and brings Stefan there the following weekend. Its midsummer, and then you have to choose if you want to catch big fish or eat delicious herring and dance around the maypole like the old Swedish tradition.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
