#338 Gray Wolf's Yellow Ghost - Eunan Hendron #338 Gray Wolf's Yellow Ghost - Eunan Hendron

Tied by: Eunan Hendron
Originated by: Gray Wolf

Hook: Mustad 94720
Thread: White 8/0
Tag: Silver flat tinsel
Body: Yellow floss
Rib : Silver flat tinsel
Belly: Peacock herl and white bucktail
Throat: White hackle then a golden pheasant crest sweeping up
Underwing: golden pheasant crest just past the hook point sweeping upward
Wing: 4 yellow hackles
Shoulder: Silver pheasant body
Eye: Jungle cock nail
Head: Black

Notes: Gray Wolf's Yellow Ghost is true to the Carrie Stevens linage of Ghost patterns. The pattern is a reflection of Mrs. Stevens' Gray Ghost using a yellow wing and body. Another version of a Yellow Ghost appeared in Dick Stewart and Bob Leeman's 'Trolling Flies for trout and Salmon' which is quite distinct from other versions and features a barred wood duck shoulder and a black body.

The GFF money box

… I have a small favor to ask.

Long story short

Support the Global FlyFisher through several different channels, including PayPal.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
