Notes: While Michael is well known for his superb interpretations of Carrie Stevens' patterns, he also has a impressive cache of Rangeley streamers he has designed. The GLS Special was designed for fishing Maine's Grand Lake Stream region. The landlocked salmon there are known to feed on yellow perch and so Michael embedded some perchy features in his design in order to imitate the prey. Michael has spent quite a bit of time on the in the area fishing beside his father and mentor Moe Decoteau and dedicates this pattern to him.
