I am American currently living in Nairobi, Kenya for two years. I have been trying to find these tyers but, no luck so far. I know there are some tyers here because I see a few flies (or earrings) in stores around stores in the city. Nobody can ever tell me where they come from. Easter, I have a trip planned for flyfishing in the Mount Kenya area. The search will contunue there.

Hoping to trade for some exotic African feathers, if they are ever found.

I have been searching the web trying to find a Loop reel that I have and could not find it... until, I saw the picture of "Henning occasionally getting out his old Loop reel" .

Mine looks just like that but looks new; got it from a storage locker deal. Mine says Model 3 with a 970 at the bottom of the reel above "LOOP T.D. SWEDEN, PATENTED".

IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN HELP IDENTIFY THIS AND TELL ME WHAT IT IS WORTH? IT SEEMS BIG FOR FLY FISHING FOR TROUT... BUT I'M NOT A FLY FISHER PERSON.

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY HELP; THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SITE. INTERESTING INFORMATION.

This is an old article, and we have no step-by-step pictures of the tying sequence, and have no plans of doing any. There will be new patterns with illustrated instructions, but this old one will remain as it is.

Regarding orders in USD.

1)
If you go to the site and look right under the flags in the left hand column there's a menu for currency selection - USD is the bottom choice. Select that and you get all prices in US dollars.

2)
Right under that, there's a list of products. Click on Fly Fishing and you will be taken to the DVDs.

3)
Click on the title you want, click Add to basket. Add more products in the same way.

4)
When you're done click Make Purchase.

5)
Enter your address. USA is selectable.

I haven't gone through with the purchase, so I don't know what information I get regarding shipping costs, but if you click on the menu item Terms, you get information on shipping methods.

I want to purchase these dvd's too, but when I go to their website I cannot find anything about ordering in US Dollars, shipping costs to the USA, shipping methods, time in transit or anything else pertaining to the USA. I know I am computer illiterate, but could you please give me some help and added direction? I even emailed Wide Open Outdoor Film the same questions and have not received a reply.
