Peacock and Partridge

A fly tying video showing how to tie a Soft Hackle Nymph with Peacock and Partridge. I do not believe I am the first to tie this pattern, nor will I be the last. This combination of feathers is timeless and trout will always want to bite this nymph. Soft hackle flies are quite simple to tie and seem to be effective around the world. Soft hackle nymphs have made a come back in the waters of the Colorado Rockies. If you have ever considered fishing near Aspen, CO this is the year. Contact Capt Matt at www.riplips.com for information about guided float trips on the Roaring Fork and Colorado Rivers.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
