I'd be surprised if Hans used this fly for salmon - even though you never know. I met him a couple of times, and remember him talking about dry flies for salmon, but that was classic bombers.

Just curious if this pattern is effective on Atlantic Salmon in Newfoundland. I am trying to branch out from the orange bug and heard about Hans van Klinken's success on the Main River last summer and was wondering what he uses?? Have tied one to try this summer!!
