Oldies on GFF

We refurbished a lot of old articles on GFF - here is the story

By Martin Joergensen

A large number of articles on Global FlyFisher have been around for a looong time.

Recently I went over a lot of the fly patterns, which have now lost their old, trusty look and been shined up a bit to be more in harmony with the current look of GFF.
So while reading some of these older pieces you might wonder about references to time, which seems a bit out of sync with real life. But that is because I basically just updated the layout, and didn't do much about the content. It has a certain touch that we didn't want to loose.

Look at these old takes from before the makeover:

The New Flees and The Christmas Tree - some of the first patterns on GFF and some that reach all the way beck to Fishing Denmark. Click them to see the new pages.

Feathers: I have to admit a particular fondness for woodduck flank. Ever since I was given my first baggie of feathers from a duck hunting friend, I was smitten. The color - the texture - the barring of the feathers. they have a natural beauty above and beyond the world of fly tying.
