Sepia Dun
The Leptophlebia marginata and vespertina or sepia and claret dun are two very abundant mayflies that prefer more acidic waters like, hill lochs and forest lakes. This easy pattern can be made to imitate both these naturals.
When the big flies are on the water you need a pattern that ticks all the boxes. Here's a mayfly dun that gives a great footprint and is easy to tie.

Long story longer
The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
