Hooligan Crab

Step by step instructions for a nice little crab that works for permit, bonefish, trigger fish and I'm sure will work for a range of other species. Tie some and use them on your local crab eating species.
RECIPE
Hook: Owner Flyliner 2-1/0
Thread: 6/0 Flat Waxed Nylon
Weight: lead dumbells sized to suit
Mouth parts: Craft fur and a couple of strands of crystal flash
Butt: Ice dubb with a cock hackle tied up against it
Eyes: glass beads on 20lb mono coated with epoxy
Body: EP fibres
Legs: silli legs or fly enhancer legs

Thanks for sharing my crab fly. I've adjusted it a little since the original, originally this was intended for trigger fish which was why I went for the flyliner which triggers can't crush like standard hooks, but this is a difficult hook to drive home. I now tie them on Gamakatsu teflon coated carp hooks which are still pretty resilient against the trigger's teeth but easier to drive home.
