Joe's Hopper

The Joe's Hopper is a traditional and classic grasshopper pattern. The Joe's Hopper has been used for many years and continues to be a standard hopper pattern in most fisherman's fly box. The Joe's Hopper can be tied in either olive or yellow, with yellow being the most popular and effective. A simple and easy hopper pattern to tie. The Joe's Hopper is a great hopper pattern for the beginner fly tier and can be quickly mastered. A must have in any terrestrial fly box!

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
