Beaverkill and Willowemoc

The Livingston Manor covered bridge crossing Willowemoc Creek.	An downstream look at Willowemoc Creek on a steamy August morning.
A bit further up DeBruce road, the Willowemoc shrinks in size but offers excellent fishing.	Wulff Run in front of the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum is a very popular spot with well educated trout.
An upstream look at the head of Hendrickson's Pool. Can you say "current seam".	A nice view of the tail of Hendrickson as it leads into Horse Brook Run.
Cairns Pool on the Beaverkill. The gin clear water and abundance of trout make this a very heavily fished area.	An angler working the deep slot on Cairns Pool. Did I mention the water is gin clear?
A lovely view from Painter's Bend. If you look closely, you'll see someone fishing the inside of the bend.	There are plenty of spots on the Beaverkill where the bottom is comprised of larger rocks that can make wading challenging.

I caught my first trout on the Beaverkill standing on Piano Rock at Hendrickson Pool .This area I was the person that developed the newer version of the Thorax Dry Fly that is the most popular tied these days and during this time I develope Overton's Wonder Wax .. I now live in Libby, Montana that is much like the Roscoe area . So I thank you for what you have done here...Glenn Overton
